The New Egyptian Countryside Development Company is a company concerned with the reclamation and development of one and a half million feddans as a first stage of four million feddans. It is a 100% Egyptian joint stock company. Three government shareholders: the Ministry of Finance, the General Authority for Reconstruction Projects and Agricultural Development – the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and the New Urban Communities Authority – the Ministry of Housing, Utilities and Urban Communities.
